To keep up with the rigors of a 24/7 operation, Thirty Three Multiple has implemented a strict parts stocking policy, a comprehensive preventative maintenance system and for every ten trucks required for an operation one extra is provided on hot standby to guarantee constant uptime.
To get the right results, Thirty Three Multiple invests heavily in its people, providing extensive training for its operators and mechanics and making sure its workers get a decent wage and an enhanced welfare package. Thirty Three Multiple aims to provide a zero incidence service with high standards of HSE.
MPS handles almost all the container stevedoring business at the Port.
Thirty Three Multiple has also provided logistics services in the ports of Mombasa, Tanga and Malindi working principally for the various port authorities. Thirty Three Multiple owns an extensive range of heavy-duty equipment including, terminal tractors and trailers.
Procurement
Thirty Three Multiple, being a Logistics company, has a solid procurement arm that is responsible for procurement of goods and services required for the effective running and management of the company.
The procurement process is rigorous as we employ global procurement best practices which require suppliers to go through a qualification and due diligence process after which awards are awarded only to qualified contractors, suppliers and service providers.
Our procurement transactions are funded through innovative credit enhancement structures, letters of credit and other financial models with local and international accredited banks and financing institutions.
The range of goods and services sourced through procurement, include Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) equipment, commodity chemicals for both offshore and onshore use in the oil and gas sectors, terminal tractors and trailers for port operations, other commodities such as cashew, charcoal (coal) and general office supplies.
The network is composed of experienced partners present in the following major cities of Dubai, Cairo, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Dar es Salaam, Mombasa, ujumbura,Lubumbashi, Goma and Bukavu who constantly strive to exceed client expectations.
Our sales office shall maintain regular and effective communication with our clients by keeping you regularly informed on the progress of your cargo via e-mail, telephone or fax and you are able to view the progress of your cargo from the Track and Trace link on our website.
Our business unit is divided into two functional units:
SEA CARGO
The Transit Cargo Unit handles cargo arriving from Mombasa and Dar-es-Salaam sea port for transshipments to the hinterlands, including Rwanda, Burundi, Uganda and Eastern Congo.
Its services include:
Customs clearance and documentation Freight forwarding by rail or land to final destination Daily updates made available on the website or sent to clients by e-mail, fax or telephone.
The Local Cargo Unit
Customs clearance + documentation for both inbound / outbound cargo, Freight forwarding of import and export cargo to and from anywhere,
Freight forwarding of export cargo to anywhere in the world,
Removal services within and outside South Sudan,
Warehousing and storage of import or export cargo,
Daily update to clients by e-mail, fax or telephone.
